I'm trying to find out what the Donald Healey Company ordered this car off the production line for. Why did it have 16 inch wheels and narrow 550 tyres? Also a low powered dynamo? The Archivist at BMIHT had never seen a cars colours as Not Recorded, maybe DHMC painted it. Does anyone know anymore? Please help if you can!

Hi, Thats my old car purchased it in about 1982 from an old boy in Birmingham for £3250, restored her myself and ran her as my everyday car. Remember having some super trips to Le Mans in her, eventually selling her to C&A Autos down in Hastings. Great to see the old lady is still around.

some of the cars were ordered in primer. There are a number of cars that were ordered with 16" tires (an option). I do not find that this car was shipped directly to DHMC originally, just that it was shipped to the UK. Your certificate may state who purchased it and if it was DHMC, I would appreciate the info for our registry. Go to healeyhelper.com to register your car on the early 100 list.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
