This 1954 Austin-Healey 100 BN1 roadster is a non-running project that is said to have been owned by the same person in New York from the 1970s until 2023, when it was removed from storage after several decades. The car was acquired by the selling dealer later that year from a Mississippi-based short-term owner. The 2.7-liter inline-four is paired with a BN2-style four-speed manual gearbox that is connected to an overdrive unit, and the vehicle is finished in blue over worn black upholstery. Equipment includes a removable fiberglass hardtop, 15″ wire wheels, a louvered hood, dual SU carburetors, and a banjo-style steering wheel. The engine is seized, and all systems require attention before the car could be roadworthy. This 100 project is now offered in New York with spare parts and body panels as well as a clean Mississippi title.

The car is finished in blue and features a louvered hood, an adjustable windshield, headlights, and taillamps. A fiberglass hardtop without a rear window is included in the sale, and the car also is equipped with a convertible-top frame and a deteriorated soft top. Damage to the paint and body are reported, and the seller notes rust in the rocker panels, the floors, and the front support bar on the frame.

Wire-spoke 15″ knock-off wheels exhibit wear and are mounted with aged mismatched tires.

The interior contains remnants of black upholstery on the bucket seats and door panels.

The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The 2.7-liter inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors. The seller states that the engine is seized.

The BN2 four-speed manual transmission reportedly was installed decades ago and is paired with a Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit.

Detached parts including a front shroud, a non-louvered hood, a bumper, and a wheel will accompany the vehicle.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
