Lot #180043

This 1954 Austin-Healey 100 BN1 roadster was refurbished in the 2000s and is finished in Healey Blue over blue upholstery. The car is powered by a 2.7-liter inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and equipment includes a louvered hood, a removable dark blue soft top, white-finished 15″ knock-off wire wheels, a tonneau cover, removable side curtains, a cabin heater, and bucket seats. This 100 is now offered in Connecticut by the selling dealer with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, refurbishment photos, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean Arizona title.

The car came finished from the factory in Healey Blue and was repainted in the 2000s. Features include a louvered hood, removable dark blue soft top, a tonneau cover, an adjustable windshield, removable side curtains, chrome bumpers with overriders, and a single exhaust outlet. The seller notes various rock chips.

The 15″ white-finished knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 165SR15 Michelin tires, and braking is handled by drums at each corner.

The bucket seats are trimmed in blue with white piping, and interior appointments include a cabin heater, a passenger grab handle, lap belts, and door pockets. Wear on the driver’s seat is visible.

The banjo-style steering wheel frames a dark blue-finished dash housing Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles.

The 2.7-liter inline-four features dual SU carburetors and was overhauled in 2000.

Engine tag stamping 1B219859M a corresponding number is listed on the BMIHT certificate.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate lists the factory colors and a build date of October 1, 1954.
