This 1954 Austin Healey 100/4 was first supplied new to a North Amercan dealership in its original left hand drive format and was painted in Old English White with the Red interior and it had a matching red hood. It returned to these shores in the late 1980's and during 1991/92 the car was fully restored, at a total cost of some £22,000, and converted to right hand drive and made to look like a full 'M' series specification car - the originals of which of course are some of the most desirable Healey's ever produced.
The engine and gearbox were rebuilt and the bodywork alone cost some £9000 and included a bare metal repaint. Since the restoration it has covered very little mileage and as you can see from the photograph the car looks stunning with its aero screen and centre Green stripe and it comes with the four speed overdrive gearbox, the original full windscreen, full weather equipment and a British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate confirming its original specification.
One of the very best on offer and ready to drive away from today's sale.
