For sale on e-bay: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/
my Dad's 1955 Austin Healey 100-4. My father had the car for almost 18 years and he had been a life long British car owner with his first being a 1952 Jaguar XK-120 in 1959. He died and this car is the one he settled on and drove almost daily during the nice weather until his passing at the age of 86.
There is no top covering for the frame and there are not, to my knowledge, any side curtains. The car runs very well and reliably. Starts immediately even when the temperatures are low. There are no overheating issues ever. There are the typical Brit car weepages but no aggressive leaks.
The trunk has been refitted with new panels and presents very well
The interior is very presentable however the drivers seat has a split at a pleat.
The body had been repainted in the '60's and looks very nice from a distance but you can see the paint has checked over the decades. There is 1 place that there is rust. It has been there the entire time my father owned it and has not degenerated. The spot is on the bottom of the rear of the left rocker panel. Oddly nowhere else. The bright work is all good and very presentable.
Suspension is tight and the brakes are fine.
