This 1957 Austin-Healey 100-6 is a four-seat BN4 roadster that is finished in olive green over black vinyl upholstery and powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Equipment includes a heater, a driver-side fender mirror, a side-exit exhaust system, twin SU carburetors, Smiths gauges, and 15″ wire wheels. The car was acquired by the seller in 2017, reportedly from its previous owner of 29 years. Subsequent work is said to have included a repaint, a carburetor overhaul, and replacement of the carpets, interior panels, and clutch cylinders. This BN4 is offered with a tonneau cover, a black soft top and crossbars, glass side-curtains, spare parts, and a clean Wyoming title in the seller’s name.
The car is said to have been previously finished in blue and was repainted olive green under current ownership. The front emblem, driver-side mirror, side spears, and panel behind the front bumper were replaced at the time of the repaint. Equipment includes a polished fuel filler cap, tri-bar headlights, chrome bumpers with overriders, and hood louvers.
The replacement silver-painted 15″ wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 185/70 Bridgestone SF371 tires. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners. The front suspension and brakes are said to have been refreshed under prior ownership.
The front bucket seats were reportedly sourced from an MG and are upholstered in black vinyl with white piping along with the rear seats. The black carpets and interior panels are said to have been sourced from Moss Motors and installed in 2020. Appointments include a heater, a passenger-side dashboard grab handle, a carpeted storage tray under the dashboard, and storage compartments in the doors.
A banjo-style steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 56k miles, 500 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The turn signals are nonfunctional per the seller.
The 2.6-liter inline-six was factory rated at 117 horsepower and is equipped with a trunk-mounted battery and a dual-exit side exhaust system. The twin SU carburetors were reportedly overhauled in 2019, and an oil change was performed in April 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox with electronic overdrive. The seller notes corrosion on the undercarriage. The clutch cylinders are said to have been replaced in April 2022.
A worn black soft top, a top frame, glass side-curtains, a tonneau cover, and spare parts are included in the sale.
