Never offered for sale at auction before, this exceptional 1959 Austin Healey 100/6 was imported from San Antonio in Texas in 1989 and was then subject to a complete restoration in 1990 when it was also converted from left hand to a right hand drive car.

It is painted in White with the Red trim and it has the 2639cc six cylinder engine and it is tested and taxed until April of next year. During the restoration, when over £14000 was spent, practically every aspect of the car was either rebuilt or overhauled and the result was superb. So much so that it would be impossible for us to list all the cups and trophies that the car has won since the rebuild as the precis of those trophies take up a full A4 page. Suffice it to say it is good - and that's an understatement.

It comes with wire wheels, front disc brakes and overdrive and looks stunning. It should - it is!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
