This lovely Austin Healey 100/6 BN4 was subject to a complete restoration in the late 1980’s, a time when original parts were plentiful and restorations were simpler to complete to a high standard, on completion the odometer was zeroed. Since the restoration this car has covered just under 5,000 miles, this is partly due to the car being purchased in the early 1990’s by John Saunders, the owner of the Stondon Transport Museum, the largest private collection of motor vehicles and other motoring exhibits in the UK, the museum closed in 2015. Sold out of the collection in 2007 and recommissioned since then, this car has rarely been used but maintained to a high standard. Fitted with the original ‘ridged’ bonnet and early chrome bonnet air duct, this 100/6 BN4 is finished in Old English White with red interior, matching red hood, tonneau cover, side screens and has recently had new chrome wire wheels with new tyres fitted. The car is supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in July 2021 and a file containing invoices and previous MoT test certificates confirming the very low mileage since the restoration. This Healey has been described by the vendors as running and driving beautifully and is a real pleasure to use and own.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
