This 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN6 is a two-seat roadster that was acquired by the seller in 2021 following a refurbishment that reportedly included repainting the body, completing a right-hand-drive conversion, and fitting a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car is finished in blue over black upholstery, and equipment includes 15″ Minator wheels, dual SU carburetors, a Lucas Sport ignition coil, front disc brakes, driving lights, chrome rear bumperettes, and a Smiths heater. Recent service is said to have included fluid changes and replacing the fuel pump and radiator. This BN6 is now offered with a black tonneau cover and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in its current shade of blue under previous ownership. Exterior details include driving lights, a mesh rally-style grille, 3000 badging, a hood scoop, bright trim, chrome rear bumperettes, and twin exhaust outlets. Paint chips are present near the right door handle, corrosion can be seen on the outer edge of the lower trunk lid, and the seller notes scratches and cracks are present in the paintwork.

Gray 15″ Minator wheels wear faux spinners and 195/65 Sailun Atrezzo SH406 tires that are said to have been mounted during current ownership. A spare tire is stored in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by rear drum brakes along with front discs that were reportedly sourced from an Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black along with color-coordinated carpeting and door panels. Features include lap belts, Austin-Healey floor mats, and a Smiths heater. The seller notes the horns and wipers are nonfunctional.

A banjo-style steering wheel frames a Smiths 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 446 miles, which is said to represent the mileage accumulated since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.9-liter inline-six is said to have been sourced from an Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I and was installed under previous ownership. The engine is equipped with twin SU carburetors, a Lucas Sport ignition coil, and a Wilson alternator. A spin-on oil filter has been fitted, and service during current ownership is said to have included re-torquing the cylinder head, performing fluid changes, and replacing the fuel pump, fuel filters, and radiator. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
