UK supplied example (One of just 499 RHD BJ7’s)
Comprehensive history
Most BJ7’s found their way to American shores, with only 499 RHD examples being produced, of which this is one of the original UK supplied cars, making it a very rare beast. Our vendor has owned the car for circa 20 years and has thoroughly enjoyed it during his ownership. The car was extensively restored in the early 1990’s, a comprehensive history file is supplied with the car, including various photos of the restoration process. The car has been upgraded with Weber 45DCOE carburettors, a stainless steel exhaust system and Kenlowe fan, it would be an ideal example for using on road tours and rallies. Being an older restoration, the bodywork could now be slightly improved in places, but if the car were to be used for touring and rallying, the body could certainly be left alone and the car could absolutely be enjoyed as it is. This Healey 3000 is supplied with a UK V5C registration document, MoT test certificate, BMIHT certificate and a good folder of invoices for various works over the years. Offered to auction with an attractive estimate, this example represents fantastic value. Consignor Fraser Smith
