This 1963 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II is a four-seat roadster that is finished in two-tone beige over a tan interior and is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes switch-actuated overdrive along with dual SU carburetors, 15″ wire wheels, front disc brakes, a black soft top, a luggage rack, and a wooden shift knob. The selling dealer acquired the car out of Indiana in 2023, and the previous owner had owned it since 1972. This BJ7 is now offered at no reserve in Missouri with a black soft top boot and tonneau cover and a clean Indiana title.

The car was repainted in two-tone beige under previous ownership and features a black soft top. Additional exterior details include a hood scoop, dual fender-mounted side mirrors, and a chrome luggage rack. Flaking paint and a dent in the right-front fender are visible. A top boot and tonneau cover are included in the sale.

Painted 15″ wire wheels are secured with two-eared knockoffs and wear 165-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The seats are upholstered in brown vinyl with plaid cloth inserts and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include a heater, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger grab handle, a wooden shift knob, manual windows, and an under-dash parcel shelf as well as rubber floor mats in the front footwells and carpeted floor mats in the rear.

The banjo-style steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and fronts a wood-accented instrument panel housing a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.9-liter inline-six features a green valve cover and dual SU carburetors. Oil leaks are noted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a switch-activated overdrive unit. The seller notes that the transmission pops out of first gear. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
