I am trying to learn as much about the car as possible. My brother acquired the car sometime prior to the year 2000. After he passed my sister in law sole me the car. It was drivable when he first got it but he had parked it to restore. He became I’ll and was unable to have it restored so I hope I can finish what he started.

Hi Dave, to start with you can obtain a Heritage certificate. A certified copy of your car's entry in the original factory ledger, showing the specification as it left the production line. I will contain the first dealer's information, colors and serial numbers of the major components. You might contact local or national British car clubs, Austin Healey has a national club as well and used to keep registries. Google healeyclub, the link to certificates is below, good luck.
