Sellers description:
This is a very nice 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mark II BJ7 with overdrive that we restored in 1997. It is a beautiful Colorado red with a black leather interior. It is a number's matching car, with the desirable 29F engine type with 2 SU HS6 carburettors. The engine was rebuilt as was the hydraulic system, brake system, suspension, etc.The front and rear hubs were replaced to accept new Dayton wire wheels. The cooling system was also completely redone, including new radiator, hoses and belts. We installed a new interior as well as top and boot cover. New plugs, wires and a complete carb. rebuild were also done. All gauges were restored and function, as well as new body pieces, including new front fenders, boot floor, rockers, and dog legs. It was then painted in lacquer. The car is a pleasure to drive, pulling strongly in all gears. The cost was over $38,000; in 1997!
