This lovely original 3000 BN III was bought when virtually new in 1971 by our vendor, a personal friend of Silverstone Auctions MD, Nick Whale. Our Midlands vendor took his newly wed wife straight off on a special European trip to Sicily in '71 and toured the region in the car creating many special memories. Infact the theme of his ownership has been regular trips in to Europe with the car throughout his tenure, including many visits to the Alps as well as regular trips to a holiday home in Aberdovey - all of them great occasions during the Summer months.

Now ripe for a restoration and some new adventures, the car is offered for sale purely through recent lack of use. It is rare to find such an original (Ice Blue from new) and unmolested car that has had just 2 owners from new and offers so much value for money. The history file of invoices and old MOT's accompany the car which drives extremely well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
