The number 3236BJ8 is the "batch" number. It is the upper line stamped on the body plate, mounted in the top center of the firewall. The body number (86423) is stamped on the bottom line of the plate. Each body got its own unique body number, but there were a series of around 500 bodies that got the same batch number.
