This beautiful late entered 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII has been privately entered by a gentleman client of ours who has owned this example for over eight years.

It had a full body rebuild a few years ago, costing in the region of £8000, and at the same time an unleaded cylinder head was fitted and the suspension was modified to a Denis Welch specification. It has the much preferred wire wheels and low profile tyres as well.

It is in very good condition throughout and the mileage is warranted since the rebuild at 20000 miles and it is currently tested and taxed and ready to drive away. It looks magnificent in the colour scheme in which it is presented and it will surely attract many potential buyers at the sale as the interest and demand for good Healeys just seems to keep on growing.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
