cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Austin-Healey-1964-Austin-Healey-BJ8-MK-III-SUPERB_W0QQc ...
Seen on eBay, April 2007. Ad reads:
"This BJ8 has been professionally restored in California by Curt Tanner. His cars always bring huge prices at the BJ Auction. At the recent Palm Beach Auction- Tanner did it again. HOWEVER- I am pricing this Healey at a realistic market price.
Note the pictures showing the car down to the "bone". NOTHING has been overlooked. Finished in the original BRG with black "Ambla" trim and a black Everflex top and boot. New stainless and chrome wire wheels are fitted with new Michein tires. The Healey has only traveled 800 miles since the restoration and has been tweeked for driving!!! During its total professional nut and bolt restoration, the body panels and chassis were stripped to bare metal. The chassis was then sealed, primed and painted with catalyzed polyurethane enamel. The panel fit is excellent. All mechanical components were restored or replaced without regard to cost. A new stainless steel exhaust was installed. All chrome has either been replaced or re-plated. Your inspection is invited."
