Chassis No. HBJ8L27617

French classic car registration document

The Austin Healey presented here was first registered in the USA in 1965. It was imported to France in the 1990s, where it resided for many years in California, a climate that is healthy for cars, as we know it.

It was then completely restored by a workshop in the Paris region, stripped to its bare bones, the upholstery carefully redone, and the mechanicals opened up for upgrading. Sporting its new metallic blue color with cream sides, it was subsequently sold to its current owner in 2008, who has continued to use his beautiful 3000 for rallies with friends and numerous road trips, always maintaining and scrupulously improving his ride.

Our test drive confirmed a car in very good mechanical condition and made to travel all distances, with a beautiful patina worthy of a car carefully restored over 20 years ago.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
