This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is finished in blue over blue and powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes 15″ knock-off wheels, a black soft top, mesh headlight guards, dual carburetors, and twin exhaust tips. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2016 and repainted in 2018. This Austin-Healey is now offered with service records, a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The body was originally delivered in Healey Blue, and the car was stripped and refinished in 2018. Equipment includes a black soft top, a blue top boot, mesh headlight guards, chrome bumpers, and twin exhaust tips.
Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The car is equipped with Bilstein shocks and front disc brakes.
The 2+2 cockpit features seats trimmed in blue vinyl upholstery, and an interior refresh carried out during current ownership included recovering the front seats and replacing the carpets. Equipment includes front lap belts, a heater, and an AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer is believed to have rolled over and shows 1,200 miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.9-liter inline-six is equipped with dual carburetors. The thermostat, radiator shroud, valve cover gasket, carburetor gasket, and fuel screen were replaced in 2015.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate lists the original colors and equipment. Service records are also included in the sale.
