This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is powered by a 2.9L inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and it is finished in British Racing Green Dark over black. Features include a black soft top, 15″ chrome wire wheels, front disc brakes, a top boot, a hood scoop, and front bucket seats. This 3000 Mk III was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022 and is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean New Hampshire registration.
The car is finished in British Racing Green Dark (GN29) and was repainted under current ownership, reportedly following rust repair around the rear quarter panels and the installation of replacement dog leg panels. Equipment includes a folding black soft top, a top boot, a hood scoop, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Continental tires measuring 165/65. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The brakes were serviced in 2016.
The two-plus-two cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in black, and interior appointments include a center console, a locking glovebox, wood trim, and a radio blanking plate.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths black-dial instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a combination gauge displaying oil pressure and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.
The 2.9L inline-six is equipped with dual SU carburetors. An aluminum radiator has been installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with Laycock-de Normanville electric overdrive. The underside has been repainted.
