What started out in 1953 as the 100 sports car ended as a handsome, elegant, powerful, long distance grand tourer. Improvements and changes were many and this final production year captures all the refinements available in this desirable motorcar. This spectacular 3000 MKIII offered for sale here has just been the subject of a total, nut and bolt, ground-up rotisserie restoration by premier marque specialist Kurt Tanner Restorations. Finished in the ultra attractive and period color scheme of California Sage with leather linen trim and dark green top and boot this beautiful BJ-8 sports convertible is supplied with its BMIHT Certificate and full documentation of the restoration. Details include rebuilt engine, suspension, steering, brakes, fuel system, exhaust, new wiring and electrics, cadmium plated hardware, show quality two stage body and paint work, new chrome, rubber, wheels and tires, glass, trim kit, top, boot, etc. All work and detailing has been carried out to Austin-Healey Club Concours Gold standards and the finest materials have been used.
