Seller's description:
-Recently purchased from it’s long term Virginia owner’s estate of at least the past 43 years, this car received an expensive, ground-up, nut-and-bolt, photo documented rotisserie restoration with Concours guidelines in mind. The car still retains it’s original VIN plate and aluminum body tag.
-Details of the restoration include a complete stripdown to the bare superstructure/ chassis, body panels stripped to bare metal, minimal repairs made, then the car was built back up with perfect gapping. High quality show paintwork was applied over a perfect flatted-off bodyshell in epoxy primer with exceptional results.
-Original brightwork was perfect triple chrome plated. New body rubber kit, windshield glass. Original attachment hardware cadmium plated. Anodized cockpit trim.
-Documented, fully rebuilt mechanicals throughout including engine and ancillaries, gearbox, front and rear suspension, shocks, braking system, steering gear, fuel system, stainless exhaust, 5 Dayton 60-spoke chrome wire wheels with radial tires, new wiring harness and electrics, recored upgraded multi-row radiator.
-Completely retrimmed interior utilizing a full Heritage Upholstery seat and panel trim kit in Cinnamon with correct wool carpeting, heat reflectorized undermat jute padding, matching Armacord to the trunk and rear cockpit battery hatch area. Perfect fit Robbins Tan soft top with matching tonneau cover. Sidecurtain set.
-Overall, this exhaustive and expensive total restoration was completed with authenticity in mind, and the results are quite super.
