motostalgia.com/car-detail/

Auction description:
1962 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark II/BT7 2+2 Roadster
Estimate: $60,000 - $75,000
Chassis Number: HBT7L15354

Finished in Healey Blue it is fitted with Navy Blue leather bucket seats with white piping, a dark blue tonneau cover plus black vinyl folding soft top complete with side curtains for inclement weather. Riding on a set of chrome wire wheels and blackwall radial tires, it is said to have better handling and a smoother ride than when new. This car has been given a complete restoration, albeit a couple of years ago during which time all of the mechanical and electrical systems have been completely gone through and sorted out, It has been carefully used for several tours and shows quite well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
