I talked with the second owner who drove the car during medical school in MS. When he purchased the car, it was red. He had the engine rebuilt after an oil change where they forgot to add oil. The third owner purchased the car in about ‘92 and rebuilt it over a Jule frame. This rebuild included another engine rebuild—back on the road in ‘98. The rebuild included a repaint in red over white. The hardtop is no longer with the car. Purchased in ‘22 from the third owner’s daughter in Arizona and transported to Mn. I have replaced tires, shocks, sway bar, fuel pump, front wheel bearings, rear seals, fluids, clutch master, plugs and wires. Added spin on oil filter. Car now drives strong and overdrive works well.
