Auction description:
This beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MkII type BT7 (Serial No. HBT7L17782) is of US origin. It was built between January 26 and 29, 1962 and delivered to St. Louis, Missouri on February 8, 1962. This is a left-hand drive of origin that has its British Heritage Center certificate. Its restoration and preparation competition were carried out in the years 2016-2017 by Atelier 46. Its body is in perfect condition (No. 3092BT7 17.714 L concordant) but its color is not the original one. The blue interior, with bucket seats with harness is in very good condition and has aluminum footrests. The engine (# 29E / TU / H4465) is not the original, as is the gearbox (# M19518). The engine preparation carried out in 20162017 by Atelier 46 workshop gives an estimated power of 210/220 hp. The six-cylinder is equipped with Weber carburettors and aviation-type clutch hoses. The vehicle is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a battery / circuit breaker. We also note the presence of a hardtop and a rollbar. The 72-spoke painted wheels are fitted with Avon CR6-ZZ tires and the front brakes feature aviation hoses. This very successful competition signed Atelier 46 has a French registration and should receive its PTH (in progress) and FIVA identity card. A very powerful geek car that is eligible for all major historical classics.
