Ebay item 8/29/15 www.ebay.com/itm/Austin-Healey-3000-BT7/262024383400
Car has a buy it now price of $38,999 for 6 days.
Sellers description:
We found this Austin Healy tucked away in the garage of a teacher in New York State that had cared for it over the last 20 + years.
Prior to us purchasing this weekend driver, he respectfully updated the interior, painted the car a beautiful British Racing Green and outfitted it with wonderful looking new wire rims.
This one is truly a hand-picked example of what a perfect weekend car is. Looks the part, drives out nicely and is mechanically sorted. Starts up and idles predictably, accelerates with the vibrato and character these are known for and drives out smoothly.
The BT7 Series II is a great weekend cruiser with the 4-seat option and fair weather (no window) doors. Add to that list the triple carburetors and this is the best way to get into a Austin Healy 3000 at a fraction of the price of a BN7 (and with 2 more seats)!
