We believe that the car was last on the road in 1963/64. The original owner disassembled it to "clean and paint" it. He had it stored in a building in Troy for several years. This building was a place where several people rented space to work on their classic cars but his son didn't think he ever really did any work there. It was an excuse to hang out with other car people and look at their cars. The car sat from the late 1960s until I purchased it from the owners estate March 2012. The car is in the finishing phase of a 3 year full DIY restoration.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
