This 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 is a two-seat BN6 roadster that was inherited by the seller in late 2018 after being refurbished by his late father. The car is finished in metallic green and cream over tan cloth and vinyl upholstery, and power is from a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a Toyota five-speed manual transmission. Features include a black fabric soft top, side curtains, and a tonneau cover as well as aftermarket alloy wheels, an alternator conversion, and an electric fan. This BN6 is offered with a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The car has been refinished in metallic green with cream-colored lower body panels. Close-up photos of the body and trim and are shown in the image gallery below. A black fabric soft top is included in the sale along with a set of side curtains and a matching tonneau cover.
Fog lights have replaced the front bumper, while a chrome bumper with overriders is retained at the rear. Painted alloy wheels with chrome knock-off nuts wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.
The cockpit is trimmed in tan fabric and vinyl upholstery with matching carpets and dash coverings. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped banjo-spoke steering wheel, a Smiths heater, and a passenger-side grab handle.
Smiths instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows just over 6k miles, with the actual total unknown. An aftermarket coolant temperature gauge has also been added.
The 2.6-liter inline-six features an alternator conversion, twin SU carburetors with polished bells, and a ribbed valve cover. The engine is shown running in this video. An electric cooling fan is mounted ahead of the radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toyota five-speed manual transmission. The car is supplied with a battery tender.
