Austin Healey 3000 BT7 – 1961 Châssis n° HBT7L5587 Fast Road » “A highly desirable Big Healey, with aggressive looks and Fast Road specs”
This BT7 was launched in 1961 and comes in a magnificent Ivory White colour, with a black interior with white piping and a black hard-top, as does the soft top. Our Healey underwent a complete restoration in 2014, the special feature of which was the expert work carried out by a coachbuilder who replaced sheet metal parts with aluminium: doors, bonnet and body panels were all changed. The car is lighter and will no longer rust in these areas! The owner recently fitted the engine with electronic ignition and had the cylinder head gasket and studs replaced with a reinforced sports model. The camshaft is a sports model designed for performance and the carburettors are the big SU HD8s from the BJ8. Power and torque are guaranteed! The ‘Fast Road’ configuration of this 3000 is a real coup for enthusiasts looking for a high-performance, reliable car that will stand out from the other Big Healey cars on the road.
