This 1955 Austin-Healey 100 BN1 roadster is a non-running project that was acquired by its prior owner in the 1960s and is believed to have been off the road for approximately five decades. The engine and transmission have been removed, and an inline-four block and a three-speed gearbox with overdrive will accompany the car. It rolls on wire-spoke wheels and has red-finished bodywork, an adjustable windshield, fender-mounted side mirrors, and a chrome rear bumper in addition to a steering wheel, an instrument cluster, and a radio. This 100 project was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026 and is now offered with a clean Colorado title.
The red paintwork shows wear, and areas of rust are depicted in the gallery below. Details include fender-mounted mirrors, an adjustable windshield, and a chrome rear bumper. There is a tear in the black soft top, which the selling dealer reports has shrunk.
The car rolls on 15″ silver-finished knock-off wire wheels with mixed tires, and it retains components for the drum brake setup.
The cabin has been mostly stripped, and a driver-side seat bottom is trimmed in black. A rearview mirror is mounted atop the dash, and a radio is located to the right.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles.
The inline-four block and the three-speed manual transmission with overdrive have been removed from the car and are included in the sale.
Additional photos showing the condition of the underside of the car are included.
The selling dealer believes the car was placed in storage in the early 1970s.
