The engine serial number quoted (29K/RV/H666, should be 29K/RU/H666) is original to chassis 26340, but is now (since at least 1983) installed in chassis 25315 in Switzerland. The engine now installed in chassis 26340 (since at least 1985) is 29K/RU/H2787, original to chassis 27986.

From original registration document car was first registered in county of Berkshire 12/2/1964 to the MG Car Co Abingdon Berks .
On the same day 3 other cars were registered an MG Midget Mk2 an AH Sprite Mk3 and an AH 3000 Mk3 with consecutive registration plates I believe that these were all press demonstration cars.
Strangely all 4 cars are shown as being MG.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
