This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is finished in British Racing Green over cream leather. Powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with a tan soft top, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, front disc brakes, and air conditioning. This 3000 Mk III was acquired by the current owner in 1996 and is now offered on dealer consignment in Florida with an owner’s manual and a clean New Jersey title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in British Racing Green and was repainted in the early 1990s. Exterior details include a replacement tan soft top, a hood scoop, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The selling dealer notes paint flaws, pitting on the chrome brightwork, and signs of age on the soft top.
Silver-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured by knock-off spinners and mounted with 165-series Michelin XZX tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The 2+2 cabin features front bucket seats and rear cushions upholstered in cream leather. Interior appointments include an under-dash air conditioning system and a British Leyland radio. Wear is visible on the interior surfaces and upholstery.
The wood-rim Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a combination gauge for oil pressure and water temperature. The speedometer was rebuilt and the cable was replaced in 2025. The five-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 5,000 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter inline-six features dual SU HD8 carburetors. Work performed in 1991 reportedly included installing a replacement wiring harness, generator, and regulator as well as fitting a spin-on oil filter adapter. Service in 2025 included replacing the gas pump tube.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The pinion gear was replaced in 2025. There is corrosion on the underside and photos are provided in the gallery.
The car is titled by HBJ8L32401, and the current title is a duplicate.
