This 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk II is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It is finished in Ivory White over red leather with white piping. Equipment includes a black convertible top, 15″ wire wheels, front disc brakes, a hood scoop, detachable side windows, and front bucket seats. This 3000 Mk II was acquired by the selling dealer in 2018 and it is now offered with a Missouri title.
The car is finished in Ivory White and features a removable black convertible top, a hood scoop, detachable side windows, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
The 15″ chrome wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 195/65 BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The 2+2 cabin features bucket seats trimmed in red leather with white piping, and interior appointments include door storage pockets, a dashboard-mounted overdrive toggle switch, and a Smiths heater box mounted beneath the dashboard.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths white-dial instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a combination gauge displaying oil pressure and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 1,000 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.9-liter inline-six drives the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a Laycock de Normanville electric overdrive. Factory-rated output was 136 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque. The carburetors have been rebuilt during current ownership.
