This Austin-Healey 3000 was modified with the installation of a Chevrolet 350ci V8 during a refurbishment that was conducted in 2025–2026. Finished in black over red leather upholstery with black piping, the car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, an Edelbrock carburetor, Vöxx B/G Rod Works 17″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, flared fenders, a side-exit dual exhaust system, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Stewart-Warner primary gauges. This modified Austin-Healey was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026 and is now offered with convertible-top parts and a California title that lists the model year as 1960.

The Chevrolet 350ci V8 was installed in this car in 2026 under prior ownership, according to the seller. The engine is augmented by an Edelbrock carburetor, an open-element air cleaner, finned rocker covers, an HEI distributor, an alternator, and bright dress-up parts.

The car received body work and was repainted in black in early 2026, the seller tells us. Features include flared fenders, a hood scoop, headlamp stone guards, and bright trim. The Healey lacks bumpers. A used soft top and some of its components will accompany the vehicle, as pictured in the gallery below.

Vöxx B/G Rod Works 17″ wheels are mounted with Toyo Extensa HPII tires measuring 235/50 in front and 225/50 at the rear. Four-wheel disc brakes with red-painted calipers have been adapted. The vehicle also has a front anti-roll bar.

The dual exhaust system has its outlets at the sides of the car, ahead of each rear wheel.

The two-seat cabin was trimmed in red leather with black piping during the recent refurbishment. Interior appointments include a push-button starter, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, a wood shift knob, door-panel storage pockets, black carpeting, and a fire extinguisher.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Stewart-Warner 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as a Jaeger fuel-level gauge and a Smiths combination gauge displaying oil pressure and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 150 of which were added by the selling dealer. The seller states that the odometer reading is not accurate, and true mileage is unknown.

The trunk compartment is trimmed to match the interior.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The identification plaque is pictured above. The chassis number is consistent with an Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I built in 1959.
